As the ground thaws and Spring begins show its face in subtle and diminutive ways, I also get a little glimpse at the wedding season to come. Last week, in a last minute ceremony, my aunt Nancy married her match, Robert. The brief indoor ceremony was casual, performed by a local Justice of the Peace, but filled with sentiment and love and followed by oysters, a champagne toast and a lovely chocolate cake by
PB Boulangerie. From there, we moved the intimate celebration to dinner at
The Wicked Oyster. It was a refreshing, moving way to welcome the season of love.
